Riddy Golf Limited is the Data Controller of your personal information for the purposes of the UK GDPR, EU GDPR and other applicable data protection laws.
You use our Services when you:

- Download and use our mobile application (RiddyGolf), or any other application of ours that links to this privacy notice

Personal information you provide
When you register, use our Services, request information, or contact us, we may collect:

- Payment details (processed by Stripe — see their Privacy Policy) 
- Authentication or verification data 
We may also collect limited profile details if you choose to log in using a social media account (see section 6).
Application data
When using the RiddyGolf mobile app, we may collect:
- Geolocation data (if you grant permission, to show location-based features such as nearby golf courses) 
- Device data (device ID, model, operating system, IP address) 
- Push notifications (if you enable them) 
We do not collect SMS messages, contacts, or reminders, and will only ever request permissions needed for app functionality.
Automatically collected information
When you visit our website or app, we may collect technical information such as:
- IP address, browser type, device type 
- Log and usage data (pages visited, features used, errors) 
- Location data (approximate, unless GPS access is enabled) 
Information from other sources
We may collect limited data from public databases, marketing partners, social media platforms, and other third parties to improve our Services and marketing.
Children’s data
Our Services are not directed at individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have, we will delete it.

4. WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH?

- Service providers (Stripe for payments, Squarespace for hosting, and other IT providers) 
- Business partners (e.g. golf course operators where you register for events) 
- Other users (if you interact via the leaderboard, scorecards, or public features) 
- Business transfers (if RiddyGolf is merged or acquired) 
5. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Your information may be transferred outside the UK/EEA, for example, to the United States, where providers like Stripe and Squarespace are based. Where this happens, we use appropriate safeguards such as the UK Addendum to EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. HOW DO WE HANDLE SOCIAL LOGINS?
If you choose to log in with a social account (e.g. Facebook), we will receive certain profile data from that provider (e.g. name, email, profile picture). Their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policy.
7. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
We keep personal data only as long as necessary:
- While you have an active account 
- Up to 6 years after account closure to meet legal, tax, and regulatory requirements 
When retention is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise your data.

We use technical and organisational safeguards to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection from unauthorised access.

11. DO-NOT-TRACK
We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, but may do so if standards are adopted in the future.
